Dr. Peter Whitewood’s book, The Red Army and the Great Terror: Stalin’s Purge of the Soviet Military (University Press of Kansas, 2015) has been awarded an Outstanding Academic Title Award by Choice Magazine for 2016.
Choice Magazine describe their Outstanding Academic Titles list as follows:
